Spa and Food Bliss!

Just spent 3 nights as a couple and wow, what a treat! The spa is absolute bliss, and the food? So delicious we ate there every night. Breakfast was great too!

great central base for exploring stunning lakes and quaint cafes

I loved how we were just a short walk away from Wordsworth's Daffodil Garden and the picturesque Wainwrights Inn, making our weekend absolutely delightful, with easy access to beautiful walks and delicious meals nearby.

The amazing spa treatment was a highlight, especially the relaxing areas after. The scenic countryside views were stunning.

Had a great time with friends! We enjoyed the beautiful backdrop while playing tennis on the private courts and relaxing at the indoor pool. Visiting nearby Ullswater was a highlight too. Just a heads up, using the outdoor spa pool costs extra, but the indoor facilities are solid. a fun spot for a group getaway!

One downside was the restaurant's limited vegan menu. It felt like they missed a chance to cater to different diets, which was a letdown for someone in our group. Otherwise, everything was pretty good.

The jacuzzi bath and stunning indoor/outdoor pool were highlights of our stay!

The room needed better upkeep.

The stay was fantastic! Our roomy signature room was spacious, with a comfortable bed and a lovely view of the grounds. The spa facilities, including the heated pool and sauna, were perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring the beautiful surroundings. The staff were attentive and eager to help, making our experience even better.

the room was super large n comfy, with a nice lil entrance for boots. breakfast was a huge buffet and really tasty. the spa was great for relaxin, super clean n quiet. loved the staff, they were really helpful. nice to be away n enjoy the beautiful surroundings!

my stay at langdale truly exceeded my expectations compared to a previous visit in ambleside. the roomy signature room was spacious and comfortable, offering stunning countryside views that made for a relaxing retreat. the on-site spa and stove restaurant provided exceptional service and delicious meals, making it a memorable getaway.

Our dining experience at the Stove restaurant was delightful, with an impressive menu and attentive staff. The spa facilities were a fantastic way to unwind after long hikes, featuring an excellent sauna and relaxing pool. One improvement could be the management of the breakfast service, which was slightly chaotic during peak times.

I adored the warm ambiance and lovely decor of the Langdale, especially the atmospheric fires and cozy, well-appointed common areas. Accessibility options made navigating the estate easy, allowing us to fully enjoy our stay.

Better breakfast organization would be appreciated.
